Jonathan Shek has extensive experience in finance, property development and project management, civil engineering and venture capital in China and Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Myanmar.
Jonathan Shek has extensive experience in project finance, property development, project management, civil engineering and venture capital in China and Southeast Asia. Mr. Shek has advised more than $10 billion of investment transactions in Southeast Asia and managed construction of projects with a value in excess of $5 billion.
Mr. Shek managed the tender for the multi-billion dollar investment into the Kyauk Phyu Special Economic Zone in Myanmar. While he was Managing Director of one of Singapore’s top project management firm, he managed large-scale landmark projects in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar. Mr. Shek is currently on the advisory board of several Singapore-based companies and charities.
Mr. Shek received his honors degree in Civil Engineering and MBA (Finance) from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He obtained a second MBA (Economics Thesis) from Peking University. Mr. Shek is a Singapore citizen.

Mr Wee Tiong Howe is widely considered the father of financial planning, having achieved national and regional recognition and success in the financial planning industry and insurance profession for over 40 years. As Chairman of IPPFA, he has recorded many firsts and overseen many changes for the betterment of the industry.
Mr Wee Tiong Howe is widely considered the father of financial planning, having achieved national and regional recognition and success in the financial planning industry and insurance profession for over 40 years. As Chairman of IPPFA, he has recorded many firsts and overseen many changes for the betterment of the industry.
Over the years, Mr Wee has assumed numerous industry and professional leadership roles. He was president of Life Underwriters Association of Singapore (today IFPAS) and was also the founding president of the Singapore Society of Financial Services Professionals. Under his leadership as President of LUA (IFPAS), he established the formation of the Asia Pacific Life Insurance Council, today known as Asia Pacific Financial Services Association, the largest conference of financial planning and insurance
practitioners in Asia Pacific.
Mr Wee has mentored and coached financial planning advisers in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and has spoken at numerous industry conferences and seminars in the region. He was the first in the region to earn the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations from the American Society. His experience and expertise put him in good stead when he decided to set out on his own and established IPP Financial Advisers in 1983 to serve professional and wealthy clients in advance insurance planning, comprehensive financial planning and global investments advisory services.
